Howard B. Lieberman

Howard has over 25 years of clinical experience in spine and extremity musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He is a graduate of UCLA and San Jose State University. Howard possesses a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. He specializes in the design of programs and instruction in physical training specifically related to orthopedic rehabilitation. Howard is also certified as a “Rock Doc” Kinesiotaping Specialist. Howard is an avid skier, backpacker, cyclist, and trail runner. He is also a licensed private pilot. Outside the clinic, Howard spends as much time as possible with his wife and two teenage daughters, enjoying the mountains and all types of outdoor adventures.

Charles M. Cody

Charles is the Managing Partner and Director of Business Operations at S.T.A.R. Physical Therapy. Charles possesses a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Charles has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Charles is very active in the local special needs community. Recent involvement has included work with The Northern California Equine Facilitated Therapy Center, and The Morgan Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders. When not at work, Charles enjoys time at home with his family and close friends. When time permits he is an avid golfer and local sports fan.

Michelle Crane-Robba

Michelle graduated from and received her license from Sonoma College in 2007. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. She was born and raised in San Jose, California but has lived abroad, teaching English in Japan. She is certified as both a Myofascial Decompression and Graston Technique clinician. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and cooking.

Jason M. Powell

Jason graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Samuel Merritt University. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Puget Sound. While at Puget Sound, Jason minored in Mathematics and Chemistry while playing baseball and graduated as a Coolidge Otis Chapman Honors Scholar. As an undergraduate and graduate student, Jason completed a senior thesis on combination strength training techniques in the male athlete, assisted in research for anti-gravity treadmill training in patients with neurological disorders, and studied neuro-dynamic abnormalities in patients with orthopedic dysfunction. Jason is a Redwood City native and attended high school at Sacred Heart Preparatory. While not at work, Jason regularly plays basketball and softball, exercises, and enjoys watching movies.

Stephanie

Stephanie is the Office Manager and Insurance Administrator for STAR Physical Therapy. She has over 14 years of medical office experience and is an expert in physical therapy benefits for private, worker’s compensation, and Medicare insurance plans. She will be happy to assist you with any scheduling or insurance questions you may have. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and gardening and reading.
