I had a consistently excellent experience with all the staff at STAR throughout four months of physical therapy following rotator cuff surgery. My primary PT was first-rate– knowledgeable, friendly, attentive to my individual needs, inventive with the exercises, and always encouraging my progress. The administrative staff was great — on top of the scheduling, billing, and insurance issues and always welcoming and personable. It’s a great team — I highly recommend them.

To Whom It May Concern:
I saw Dr. Millard in April due to a strained back and it was recommended I have physical therapy for my spasms. I have this month concluded a series of sessions at S.T.A.R. Physical Therapy.
I would highly recommend the facility, Howard Lieberman and staff. They are well equipped, had a complete program for me, and are efficient and thorough in their treatment in a friendly and concerned atmosphere. I am continuing to improve with their suggested exercise program at home.
I highly recommend this facility for strength training and rehabilitation.
Sincerely,
Nedra C.

Howard,
Just a quick follow-up since I did not get in for my ‘final’ visit. You and your entire staff at S.T.A.R. are a team that should be commended. I know you said I did all the work, but, with thanks to you, Stephanie, Leslie, et al. I am back to normal (what’s normal) and able to go about my business. You and your team are unsung heroes.
The difference this time is that I have the knowledge and the tools to keep in shape and pain free. You especially, educated me and I’ll keep my program (my little blue book) for years to come.
I have to say that it was money well spent and that whatever insurance does not pay. I will happily pay the difference. It is an investment in my health and longevity.
Last and not least, where else could I go and get the musical education and variety (Neil Young and Dean Martin) that I got and get to wear Aloha shirts. Thanks again and all the best to you and your team. There will always be a high recommendation for S.T.A.R. from my perspective.
Sincerely,
Larry F.

Dear Stephanie,
I just want to drop a note regarding my treatment and status. Dr. Eakin cleared me to return to work in the beginning of July. He also said I was done with therapy and could continue the exercise and workouts on my own.
If you could please thank the S.T.A.R. staff for me I would appreciate it. The experience at S.T.A.R. made this whole operation and recovery much easier than I anticipated. You are all extremely professional as well as enjoyable to be around. As much as I will miss coming to physical therapy, I am glad to be back at work, which will probably require mental therapy instead. I wish you all well.
Sincerely,
Rawn P.

Dear Staff at S.T.A.R.,
Just a note to say thank you from Tom and me for all your help in our shoulder rehab process. Your patience, support, and competence made a very tedious process almost enjoyable. Have a latte or a chai on us, and I hope to be back to wind up my therapy in a couple more weeks when my other arm issue is resolved. You are all Stars!
Warmly,
Veralyn D.

Dear Howard,
It has been almost 5 months now since my shoulder operation and over 4 months since I started therapy. I am performing 95% of my daily routines. Also, as you know I’m playing racquetball again which makes me very happy. My game isn’t where I want it to be since my timing is off and my muscles are not used to the rigors of play, but the good news is that my shoulder feels fine and I believe I am getting more flexibility as time goes on.
I thank you, Leslie, and everyone affiliated at S.T.A.R. Therapy for your expertise and professionalism in working with me. I attribute my progress to your fine work. The atmosphere you established is very enjoyable even though the music you play is questionable…. I was able to overlook that since you laughed at my jokes (probably out of kindness or sympathy). Now that my therapy sessions are over, I will almost miss them.
I wish you all a wonderful summer and perhaps I will see you all again under different and better circumstances.
Best Regards,
Jim R.
